About us

경기아트센터 사장 김상회
Greetings, I am Sanghoe Kim, President of the Gyeonggi Arts Center.

The Gyeonggi Arts Center has long been dedicated to bringing art naturally into the daily lives of Gyeonggi residents, enriching their lives with creativity and comfort.
We will continue to explore new ways to make art more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, ensuring that it is always close to our communities.
With a strong sense of public responsibility, we will move forward with courage and innovation, standing alongside the people of Gyeonggi Province.

We believe that art is a bridge that connects people, generations, and regions.
The Gyeonggi Arts Center will continue to strengthen this precious bridge, making it broader and sturdier so that everyone—young and old alike—can easily experience the beauty and inspiration of art.

In partnership with all 31 cities and counties of Gyeonggi Province, we are building a unique cultural identity under the name “G-Arts.”
As the face of Gyeonggi’s arts and culture, we are preparing to share even more meaningful and proud cultural experiences with the public.

We also plan to expand touring performances to regions with limited access to culture and to provide greater opportunities for young, local, and disabled artists.
By fostering an environment where everyone can participate in and enjoy the arts, we aim to create a community where art and region grow together.

The Gyeonggi Arts Center will always remain close to our residents—sharing warmth, joy, and connection through art.

Thank you.

김상회 President, Gyeonggi Arts Center
